This Privacy Policy explains what information the ChiDa application ("the App", "we", "us")
collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — the name, phone number, and profile details you provide to register and use your account.
- User content — messages, posts, and media you create or share within the App, and gameplay data (rooms, scores).
- Camera & microphone — when you join a voice/video chat, audio and video are captured and transmitted in real time to the other participants in your session. This is used solely to provide the live communication feature.
- Device & technical data — a device identifier, app version, and push-notification token, used for delivering notifications and operating the service.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To provide core features: chat, social feed, games, and voice/video communication.
- To send notifications you have enabled.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate and improve the service.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only:
- With other users as part of features you use (e.g. your profile, posts, and live audio/video within a session).
- With service providers that operate the App, including Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and our own servers/relay (TURN) used to transmit calls.
- Where required by law.
4. Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your
account and associated data by contacting us at the address below; we will delete it within a
reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
5. Security
Data in transit between the App and our servers is protected using HTTPS/TLS. No method of
transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under the age required by your local law to consent to
data processing, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
"Last updated" date on this page.
